How we work

Credibility,
before superlatives.

The standards that separate a considered publication from a beautiful collection of claims.

01

Say what kind of story it is

An editorial essay expresses a point of view. A planning guide assembles useful information from identified sources. An on-site review requires a real visit and a disclosed method. An interview requires an actual conversation and permission to publish. This launch edition contains essays and desk-researched guides, not invented reviews or interviews.

02

Use the right picture

A photograph must depict the place or property it is said to show. Source, author, licence and any adaptations are recorded. Illustrations are labelled as illustrations. A concept image must never be presented as evidence of an actual hotel, restaurant, yacht or destination.

03

Be precise about commercial relationships

Connections to specialist platforms in the network are disclosed. Paid placements or affiliate links, when introduced, must be clearly identified. Editorial inclusion must not be disguised as an independent award, inspection or endorsement.

04

Do not invent authority

No unsupported “featured in” logos, testimonials, awards, visitor numbers, expert identities or member entitlements. Access to a private event is not implied by mentioning it. Claims of personal inspection require a documented basis.

05

Keep practical information accountable

Use primary sources for changing details and link readers to them. Dates, tickets, transport, opening times and commercial availability should be checked with the relevant operator. A guide’s recommendations are not guarantees.

06

Make corrections possible

The Contact page includes a correction route. Reports should identify the page, the issue and a supporting source. In this preview, forms do not send until the publisher activates a delivery service; that limitation is made visible.

07

Respect the reader’s attention

Do not autoplay sound, obstruct reading with pop-ups or hide a change of website. Give pages a clear purpose, make text legible and make navigation work with a keyboard. The reader should understand where a link leads.
