What the browser stores
Saved stories are stored only in your browser’s local storage. They are not sent to The Adriatic. You can clear them using the button below or your browser settings. The site does not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts.
Image requests
Some images are requested from Wikimedia Commons or its image servers. Those requests disclose ordinary connection information, such as an IP address, to the image host. An included localisation tool allows the publisher to host authorised images locally instead. Clearly labelled illustrations are used when a remote image cannot load.
Forms when activated
A contact form requests a name, email address, subject, message and consent acknowledgement. The letter form requests an email address and consent. The publisher must identify the responsible operator, the delivery processor, retention periods, lawful basis and a working rights contact before activating those services. This preview does not invent those details.
Other websites
Specialist gateways open other websites. Their privacy practices and commercial terms are separate. Check the relevant site before sharing personal information or making a transaction.
